WaterMark Consulting Ltd. was established in 2003 by Bill Jealous and David Tratch. Together they have over 60 years in the engineering consulting industry.
In the first 20 years of operation, WaterMark Consulting Ltd. successfully completed over 600 investigations for the municipal, industrial, agri-business, mining, and First Nations markets within both private and public sectors.
Today, WaterMark continues to serve its clients and looks forward to serving them for years to come.
Mr. Tratch has over 30 years work experience in the consulting industry in Saskatchewan. He obtained his B.Sc. in Civil Engineering and M.Sc. in GeoEnvironmental Engineering degrees in 1992 and 1995, respectively. He has been working in the consulting industry since 1992, gaining professional experience within the disciplines of hydrogeologic, environmental and geotechnical engineering. Mr. Tratch has strengths in interpretation and understanding of complex hydrogeologic systems, particularly in the application of computer based programs to simulate these systems.
Rory has over a decade of experience in hydrogeologic consulting, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Regina in 2014. Rory began his career working as a geological consultant in the oil and gas industry, transitioning to hydrogeologic consulting in 2015.
Rory has experience working on a variety of geologic, hydrogeologic, and environmental investigations, and in recent years has enjoyed applying his hydrogeologic skill set to irrigation groundwater supply licensing investigations across the province of Saskatchewan. Rory has been a licensed Professional Geoscientist with APEGS since 2021 and is currently completing a Masters of Science degree from the Technical University of Darmstadt, with focus on hydrogeology.
Anna has nearly a decade of experience in the consulting industry. She earned a B.Sc. in Geological Engineering at the University of Saskatchewan in 2011 and has been consulting since on projects across western Canada involving geological, geotechnical & hydrogeological investigation, earthwork design, site characterization and geo-hazard & geo-environmental risk assessment. Anna has a strong background in remote sensing, a broad knowledge of local geology & hydrogeological processes and expertise in civil engineering design.
Austin joined WaterMark Consulting Ltd. in 2019 after completing Environmental Systems Engineering at the University of Regina. He has gained experience in a variety of fields including civil engineering earthworks, environmental, and geotechnical investigations. Austin has demonstrated his ability to work on complex projects as well as the proficiency of working with a variety of contractors.
